Yoga Therapy
Yoga Therapy cultivates the growth of health and well-being through the principles and practices of yoga, within the setting of a therapeutic relationship. It involves individualised assessment, goal setting, personally orientated safe yoga practices - movement, breathwork, relaxation, and lifestyle management. It is simultaneously personalised, inclusive and holistic, integrating all aspects of human nature.
Carol has successfully completed the internationally accredited 850-Hour Yoga Therapy Diploma with The Yoga Therapy Institute, Amsterdam.
Clients have included people diagnosed with acid reflux, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Hashimoto’s Thyroidism, Sjogren's Syndrome, Rheumatoid Arthritis, cancer, retinal detachment, neck pain, kyphosis, frozen shoulder, herniated discs, sciatica, torn gluteus, Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, osteoarthritis, anaemia, stroke, high blood pressure, hyper sensitive nervous system, past experience of emotional trauma, physical trauma and sleep disruption.
